Who Can Participate?

You can take part in College Now if:

you attend a New York City public high school

OR
your private school tuition is paid for with public funds (for students with disabilities only)

OR
you are homeschooled and can provide proof of registration with the New York City Department of Education

Please note that specific College Now activities may have additional requirements. To take a college-credit class, for example, you'll need to meet course-enrollment requirements.

Most College Now students are in the 11th or 12th grade, but more and more courses and events are available for 9th and 10th graders.

More than 280 high schools have already established College Now programs. But don't be discouraged if your school isn't on this list; there are still ways to participate.
